Happy New Year 2023!

The new year always inspires me. Even though I know in the back of my head that I will be super depressed in a matter of a few short weeks, for today; I am inspired by all the possibilities ahead of me.

365 new days. 365 chances to reinvent yourself. 365 opportunities.

If we are to be that lucky.

I don’t make resolutions, but do set intentions for how I want to behave for the coming year. New habits I want to make. Things I want to accomplish. Trips and travels I want to make.

This is the year that I’m going to get a promotion at work – and I will work my ass off to get it.

This is the year that I’m traveling to Newfoundland with three of my best friends.

This is the year I will drag myself off of my ass and do something other than immerse myself in work.

This is the year I turn FIFTY. Yikes!

There’s a lot of life left in these bones. I should act like it and claim it.
