Death + Taxes…um, Wait…

Well, I’ve just filed my taxes for the year and May the Gods help me, that I did them correctly. It’s always a bit of a crap shoot. I plead ignorance. I really don’t know what I’m doing.

It’s also laundry day, clean the bathroom day and pick up toilet paper from my Mom, who bought some for me from Costco. She loves to shop online and really? Who doesn’t need 40 rolls of tp for $15? Especially with a family of four and two bathrooms.

I think I’ve recovered from my rough couple of weeks, just in time for lockdown to continue and my hours to be cut at work as we are reduced to curbside service only. I understand the need for lockdowns, but frankly I’m tired of them. I cannot wait to get my damn Covid vaccine, despite numerous people trying to sway me from it. I have compromised people in my life that I would love to see in person again. I work with the public, so I’m a no brainer to get it – just like the flu shot. And I’m dying to travel and if that requires a proof of vaccine? Damn right, I’m going to have it.

That’s pretty much it for today. Now, I need to go empty and reload the dishwasher, handwash some face masks and wait for my crockpot supper to be ready. The hubby is watching ‘Tag’ and although Jeremy Renner is a dream to watch, I’m good. Maybe it’s time for my Italian lesson of the day (learning for a trip to Italy in October ’22).

Have a relaxing Sunday evening, my friends and savour the time.

Buonanotte!
